Hello my dears! Happy new year to you all.
I spent my Christmas week weathering a really exhausting cold and then hosting a vast herd of in-laws, so thank you all for your patience with me unexpectedly skipping a page.
I’m still catching my breath (literally and figuratively) after all that excitement, but luckily the days before New Year’s have been quiet enough on the work front that I could get the comic back on schedule.
Since I’m uploading a bit early, next week will be the first page of 2016! It will also be page 400 (and 2016 marks ten years of me working on this comic!), I’ll wait ’til then to do more of a comprehensive post looking back on 2015 and ahead to the new year!
Doesn’t seem like I’ve been reading this comic for ten years!
I hope that’s a good thing! ;)
A very good thing!
Trying to keep people’s attention these days with a once-a-week strip is not easy. The strip has to be magnificent. Until he went on hiatus over a year ago, Karl Kerschl’s “The Abominable Charles Christopher” was one such. It’s the only one I have read which could compete with yours for impeccable draftsmanship, artistic quality, compelling characters and addictive story line.
I first began reading these in Afghanistan (I was recalled out of retirement for special purposes). Loved the strip then and love it now. I want to buy the book/s after the story line concludes, so I can get it/them all at once.
