Hello my dears!
Here is page 387, blissfully on schedule. Thank you to everybody who came by the table at Rose City Comicon! I was still feeling pretty raggedy after my Month of Yuck and not sure that I’d be able to make through the whole con, but you were all so lovely that I felt better at the end of the weekend than I did going in.
Book news! Whoa my gosh guys it’s a good week for releases. My sickeningly talented studiomate Jonathan Case gives you The New Deal, a Depression-era comedy/mystery caper starring an ill-fated maid and a bellhop at the Waldorf Astoria. Jonathan’s work is sharp, stylish, sophisticated, perceptive, and funny as hell.
Meanwhile my other sickeningly talented studiomate Joëlle Jones just released the first trade volume of Lady Killer, her graphic novel that asks what if a Betty Draper-type housewife was also secretly a highly paid assassin? It is evil, sexy, blood-spattered, tongue-in-cheek fun. Go read!
Words cannot describe how much I love that first panel.
Thank you!
