Hello my dears!
This week’s page went up a few hours early on the Patreon. Every so often I don’t come in with my hair on fire right at the midnight deadline, and on those days, I celebrate with my patrons by sharing early, and then I go into the backyard and sacrifice a black rooster to the gods of productivity.
This week’s Best Thing is my friend Laura Hudson’s essay for Wired on the re-release of Grim Fandango, the legendarily lovely adventure game from days of yore. It’s not only a great review of the game, and of the quality of the re-release, but also of the strangeness of returning to treasured places and stories from your past. Go give it a read. (And then give it a play!)
That’s a really great review, Dylan! Thanks for linking to it. Gods, I loved that game. Gods, I hated the ticket-taker puzzle.
Luther’s looking very dapper there in panel 3! And the eyeroll is glorious.
