Hello my dears! I love that I get to say that to you every week; you really are dear to me. I perform a mental trick where I pretend that nobody reads this comic so that I don’t worry too much about you; but I know you’re there, and your letters and book purchases and overall wonderfulness are a huge part of what gets me through the tough stretches that are native to any lengthy project.
This week I’m launching a Patreon for this comic. Patreon is a really remarkable site that allows audience members to directly support the independent creators they follow. You can pledge whatever amount you like, for as long as you like, and each month it goes automatically my way. There are some rewards, too – I’m looking forward to sending you guys those!
I don’t do Family Man because it’s lucrative – but I’m really excited at the prospect of making it a real part of my income, because it’s the part of my work life that I’m most proud of, and that is the most personal to me. If the comic is meaningful to you, and you’d like to contribute, you can do so right here. And thank you – you are dear to me.
Hmm…looks like a flashback, maybe? She already had Lada in the “transformation” scene at the end of the last book, I think.
