Into the Trees

Hello my dears – I’ve been out of town, helping out at a weeklong bonanza of family events. I managed to squeeze last week’s page in between my hilariously many duties, and I’m home now, but I haven’t had the chance to unpack my suitcase yet, much less get any work done. I’ll be back with a page next week!
In the meantime: I don’t listen to much music when I’m working on Family Man. There’s one exception, because it evokes so much of the atmosphere that I hope to create. It feels like this story to me. It’s an open door to the place where this story lives.
The album is Into the Trees, by the wonderful cellist Zoë Keating. I would talk more about how great it is, but you can just listen to her work and figure it out for yourself.
This month her husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Keating is an independent artist (like me!), and putting her album and tour work on hold to care for him and their son will take quite a chunk from their family’s income. Please, give her work a listen, and then buy a CD or download of it direct from her.
