Hey all! I’m back from Emerald City Comicon. It was a fantastic show – despite less than ideal placement on the floor, I had my best sales to date, and I had a wonderful time seeing all your smiling faces. That said, I’m trashed; my drawing arm is trashed; my inbox is trashed! Pretty sure I still haven’t done the laundry, either.
SO, I will be update again next week, when I’m back in shape. In the meantime, here’s something that’s been requested a few times: my character design reference sheet for all the lady characters introduced in this last section of the story. Click here to see the full-sized version! (This kickline is missing Agata, who you can find on the the wolf character sheet.)
I had to design all of these characters rather quickly. Working in a muted monochrome color palette, and having all these characters dressed in the same kinds of materials (buckskin, furs, rough cloth, wool) and basic garments made for an interesting challenge. Granted, not quite as bad as designing a whole bunch of wolves…
Hannah looks like a fun, saucy wench.
