I did many comics-related things over my summer break, but one of the most rewarding was finally getting the chance to draw a short story that I’d been keeping in reserve. I’d written the script called “Outfoxed” (a cynical little fairytale) a few years ago, so it was a long-delayed gratification.
It gave me the opportunity to teach myself how to ink with an actual brush (like a grownup cartoonist), use an Ames lettering guide (thanks, Dustin), use standard comics page dimensions (tall!) and deploy a rarely-seen drawing style that  comes much more naturally to me than the one I use in Family Man.
You can go read the whole thing – 23 pages – by clicking here. I hope you enjoy, and I’ll see you next Friday!
